Serbian language
The Serbian language is a South Slavic language primarily spoken in Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Montenegro. It is the official language of Serbia and is recognized as a minority language in several neighboring countries. Serbian uses both the Cyrillic and Latin alphabets, making it unique among Slavic languages.
As a member of the Slavic language family, Serbian shares similarities with Croatian and Bosnian, which are part of the Serbo-Croatian linguistic continuum. The language has a rich literary tradition and is known for its complex grammar, including seven cases for nouns.
