Serbian Constitution
The Serbian Constitution was adopted on November 8, 2006, following the declaration of independence from Montenegro. It serves as the fundamental legal document that outlines the structure of the government, the rights of citizens, and the principles of the state.
The Constitution establishes Serbia as a democratic republic, emphasizing the rule of law, human rights, and the separation of powers among the legislative, executive, and judicial branches. It also recognizes the importance of local self-government and promotes the protection of minority rights within the country.
