Serb civilians
Serb civilians are individuals who identify as part of the Serbian ethnic group, primarily residing in Serbia and surrounding regions in the Balkans. They share a common language, Serbian, and cultural traditions that have been shaped by a long history, including influences from the Ottoman Empire and Austro-Hungarian Empire.
During the conflicts in the Yugoslav Wars of the 1990s, many Serb civilians faced significant challenges, including displacement and violence. The experiences of these civilians varied widely, influenced by their geographic location and the political context of the time. Today, they continue to contribute to the cultural and social fabric of the region.
