Bosnian Serbs
Bosnian Serbs are an ethnic group primarily residing in Bosnia and Herzegovina, where they make up one of the three main ethnic groups, alongside Bosniaks and Croats. They are predominantly Eastern Orthodox Christians and speak Serbian, a South Slavic language.
The political representation of Bosnian Serbs is significant, especially in the Republika Srpska, one of the two entities that make up Bosnia and Herzegovina. This region was established during the Bosnian War in the 1990s and has its own government and institutions, reflecting the distinct identity and aspirations of the Bosnian Serb population.
