Sentinelese
The Sentinelese are an indigenous tribe living on North Sentinel Island, part of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands in the Bay of Bengal. They are known for their isolation from the outside world and have resisted contact with outsiders for thousands of years. The tribe is estimated to number between 50 and 400 individuals, and they rely on hunting, fishing, and gathering for their sustenance.
The Indian government has declared North Sentinel Island a protected area, prohibiting outsiders from visiting to preserve the tribe's way of life. The Sentinelese are considered one of the last uncontacted peoples, and their unique culture and language remain largely unknown to the outside world.
