Seborrheic Keratosis
Seborrheic Keratosis is a common, non-cancerous skin growth that often appears as a raised, wart-like lesion. These growths can vary in color, ranging from light tan to black, and typically have a scaly or rough texture. They are most commonly found on the face, chest, back, and scalp, and usually develop in older adults.
While Seborrheic Keratosis is harmless and does not require treatment, some individuals may choose to remove them for cosmetic reasons or if they become irritated. Removal methods include cryotherapy, curettage, and laser therapy, all of which are generally safe and effective.
