Sawai Man Singh II
Sawai Man Singh II was the last ruling Maharaja of Jaipur, a city in the Indian state of Rajasthan. He was born on September 21, 1911, and ascended the throne in 1922 after the death of his father, Maharaja Man Singh I. His reign lasted until 1949, when the princely states of India were integrated into the Indian Union.
During his rule, Sawai Man Singh II was known for his efforts in modernizing Jaipur and promoting education and infrastructure. He was also a patron of the arts and played a significant role in preserving the cultural heritage of Rajasthan. After his reign, he became a prominent political figure and served in the Indian Parliament.
