Sancho II of Navarre
Sancho II of Navarre, also known as Sancho the Strong, was a king who ruled from 1076 to 1094. He was the son of Sancho I of Navarre and Muniadona of Castile. His reign was marked by conflicts with neighboring kingdoms, particularly Castile and Aragon, as he sought to expand his territory and influence.
Sancho II is remembered for his military prowess and efforts to strengthen the Kingdom of Navarre. However, his reign faced challenges, including internal strife and opposition from his brothers. Ultimately, he was forced into exile, and his reign ended in 1094 when he was succeeded by his brother, Pedro I of Navarre.
