Sancho I of León
Sancho I of León, also known as Sancho I of Asturias, was a king who ruled from 956 to 958. He was the son of Ramiro II of León and became king after the death of his brother, Ordoño IV. His reign was short and marked by internal conflicts and challenges from rival factions.
Sancho I's rule was characterized by efforts to consolidate power in the Kingdom of León. However, he faced opposition and was eventually overthrown, leading to the ascension of Alfonso IV. His brief reign is often overshadowed by the more prominent rulers of his time.
