Ramiro II of León
Ramiro II of León was a king who ruled from 931 to 951 AD. He was a member of the Asturian royal family and succeeded his father, Ordoño II. His reign was marked by efforts to consolidate power and defend his kingdom against external threats, particularly from the Muslim territories in the south.
During his rule, Ramiro II focused on strengthening the Christian presence in the region and promoting the growth of the Kingdom of León. He is also known for his support of the Church, which played a significant role in the political landscape of medieval Spain.
