Samuil
Samuil was a notable historical figure who served as the king of the First Bulgarian Empire from 997 to 1014. He is best known for his efforts to resist the Byzantine Empire's attempts to reclaim control over Bulgaria. Under his leadership, the Bulgarian state experienced significant territorial expansion and military successes, making him a key figure in Bulgarian history.
