Beisa oryx
The Beisa oryx is a large antelope native to the arid regions of East Africa, particularly in countries like Kenya and Tanzania. It is characterized by its long, straight horns and striking black and white facial markings. Beisa oryxes are well-adapted to their harsh environments, able to survive with little water by obtaining moisture from the plants they eat.
These animals typically inhabit savannas and grasslands, where they graze on grasses and shrubs. Beisa oryxes are social creatures, often found in small herds, which helps them protect against predators. Their unique adaptations and behaviors make them an important part of their ecosystem.
