Saint Rafka
Saint Rafka, also known as Saint Rafka of the Cross, was a Lebanese Maronite nun born in 1832. She is celebrated for her deep faith and commitment to God, dedicating her life to prayer and service. Rafka experienced significant suffering, including illness and physical pain, which she offered up as a form of spiritual sacrifice.
She became a nun in the Maronite Church and spent many years in a convent, where she was known for her compassion and dedication to the community. Saint Rafka was canonized by Pope John Paul II in 2001, and her feast day is celebrated on March 23.
