Saint Charbel
Saint Charbel, also known as Saint Charbel Makhlouf, was a Lebanese monk and hermit born in 1828. He is recognized for his deep spirituality and commitment to the Maronite Catholic Church. After living a life of prayer and solitude, he passed away in 1898, and his legacy continues to inspire many.
He was canonized by Pope Paul VI in 1977, and his feast day is celebrated on July 24. Saint Charbel is known for his miraculous healings and is venerated by both Catholics and non-Catholics alike, making him a significant figure in Christian spirituality.
