Saint Eulogius
Saint Eulogius was a Christian martyr and a prominent figure in the early medieval period, particularly in Spain. He lived during the 9th century and is best known for his efforts to defend the Christian faith against the rising influence of Islam in the region. Eulogius was a priest in Cordoba, where he actively supported fellow Christians who were persecuted for their beliefs.
He was eventually arrested and executed for his faith, becoming a symbol of courage and devotion. Saint Eulogius is commemorated on March 11, and his legacy continues to inspire many in the Christian community, particularly in Spain and among those who honor martyrs.
