Saint Sharbel Makhlouf
Saint Sharbel Makhlouf was a Lebanese monk and hermit born in 1828. He is known for his deep spirituality and commitment to the Maronite Catholic Church. After living a life of prayer and solitude at the Monastery of St. Maron, he became famous for his miracles and healing powers.
He passed away in 1898, and his canonization by the Catholic Church took place in 1977. Saint Sharbel is celebrated for his devotion to God and is a symbol of faith for many, particularly in Lebanon and among the Maronite community worldwide.
