Said Aouita
Said Aouita is a retired Moroccan middle-distance runner, born on November 2, 1959. He is best known for his achievements in the 5,000 meters and 1,500 meters events. Aouita gained international fame in the 1980s, setting multiple world records and winning a gold medal at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics in the 5,000 meters.
