Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah was the 15th Emir of Kuwait, serving from January 29, 2006, until his death on September 29, 2020. He was born on June 16, 1929, and was known for his diplomatic efforts and contributions to regional stability in the Gulf Cooperation Council. During his reign, Emir Sabah focused on modernizing Kuwait and enhancing its international relations. He played a significant role in mediating conflicts in the region and was recognized for his humanitarian initiatives, earning him the title of "Humanitarian Leader" from the United Nations.
