Saami languages
The Saami languages are a group of Uralic languages spoken by the Saami people, who inhabit parts of northern Norway, Sweden, Finland, and Russia. There are several distinct Saami languages, including Northern Saami, Southern Saami, and Inari Saami, each with its own unique characteristics and dialects.
These languages are part of the larger Uralic language family, which also includes Finnish and Hungarian. Saami languages are recognized for their rich oral traditions and are increasingly being taught in schools and used in media, helping to preserve the cultural heritage of the Saami people.
