SLV-2
SLV-2 is an Indian satellite launch vehicle developed by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). It was designed to place small payloads into low Earth orbit and was the second vehicle in the SLV series, following the successful launch of SLV-1.
The SLV-2 was launched on July 18, 1980, from the Sriharikota Range. It successfully placed the Rohini Satellite into orbit, marking a significant milestone in India's space program. This achievement demonstrated India's growing capabilities in satellite technology and paved the way for future advancements in space exploration.
