Rohini Satellite
The Rohini Satellite series is a group of Indian satellites launched by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) starting in 1980. These satellites were primarily designed for Earth observation and remote sensing applications, providing valuable data for agriculture, forestry, and land-use planning.
The first satellite in the series, Rohini-1, was successfully launched on July 10, 1980. Over the years, several other Rohini satellites followed, enhancing India's capabilities in satellite technology and contributing to various scientific and commercial endeavors. The series played a significant role in establishing India's presence in space exploration.
