SANAA
SANAA, or the Sanaa International Airport, is the main airport serving the capital city of Yemen. It is located approximately 12 kilometers from the city center and primarily handles domestic flights, along with some international services. The airport has faced challenges due to ongoing conflicts in the region, impacting its operations and accessibility.
The airport is named after the city of Sanaa, which is known for its rich history and unique architecture, including the famous Old City of Sanaa, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Despite the difficulties, SANAA remains a crucial hub for travel in and out of Yemen.
