Rwandan Franc
The Rwandan Franc (RWF) is the official currency of Rwanda, a country located in East Africa. It was introduced in 1964, replacing the Rwandan Rupee. The currency is subdivided into 100 centimes, although centime coins are rarely used in everyday transactions.
The Rwandan Franc is issued by the National Bank of Rwanda, which manages the country's monetary policy. Banknotes are available in denominations of 500, 1,000, 2,000, 5,000, and 10,000 francs, while coins come in denominations of 1, 5, 10, 20, 50, and 100 francs.
