Russian Navy's Slava-class
The Slava-class is a class of guided missile cruisers built for the Russian Navy. Designed in the 1970s, these ships are known for their powerful missile systems, including the P-500 Bazalt anti-ship missiles and the S-300 air defense system. They serve primarily in a role of fleet air defense and surface warfare.
Each Slava-class cruiser is equipped with advanced radar and electronic warfare systems, enhancing their combat capabilities. The class includes three active ships: Slava, Varyag, and Marshal Ustinov. These vessels are notable for their distinctive profile, featuring a high superstructure and a large number of missile launchers.
