Varyag
The Varyag is a Russian cruiser that was originally built in the late 19th century. It was launched in 1899 and served in the Imperial Russian Navy. The ship is notable for its role in the Russo-Japanese War, where it was involved in the Battle of Chemulpo Bay.
After being scuttled by its crew in 1904 to prevent capture, the Varyag was later salvaged by the Japanese and served in their navy as the Nisshin. Today, the ship is remembered as a symbol of bravery and resilience in naval history.
