Russian National Anthem
The Russian National Anthem is the national anthem of the Russian Federation. The music was composed by Alexandr Alexandrov in 1939, and the lyrics were originally written by Gabriel El-Registan. The anthem was officially adopted in 2000, replacing the previous anthem that had lyrics by Sergei Mikhalkov.
The anthem's melody is known for its powerful and stirring composition, reflecting themes of patriotism and national pride. The current lyrics, also by Sergei Mikhalkov, emphasize the strength and unity of the Russian people, celebrating the country's vastness and history.
