Rungus
The Rungus are an indigenous ethnic group primarily found in the northern part of Borneo, particularly in the state of Sabah in Malaysia. They are known for their rich cultural heritage, which includes traditional music, dance, and crafts. The Rungus people primarily speak the Rungus language, which is part of the Austronesian language family.
Traditionally, the Rungus live in longhouses, which are communal dwellings that house multiple families. Their economy is largely based on agriculture, with rice and various fruits being staple crops. The Rungus also engage in fishing and hunting, maintaining a close relationship with their natural environment.
