"Rumpelstiltskin" is a German fairy tale about a miller's daughter who is forced to spin straw into gold for a king. A mysterious creature named Rumpelstiltskin offers to help her in exchange for her firstborn child. She successfully spins the straw, impressing the king, who marries her. When the time comes to fulfill her promise, the miller's daughter is desperate. Rumpelstiltskin gives her a chance to keep her child if she can guess his name within three days. After discovering his name, she saves her child, and Rumpelstiltskin is defeated, disappearing in anger.
