Rubjerg Knude
Rubjerg Knude is a famous shifting sand dune located on the northern coast of Denmark. It is known for its stunning views of the North Sea and the surrounding landscape. The dune rises about 60 meters above sea level and is part of a larger coastal area that features unique geological formations.
The site is also home to the historic Rubjerg Knude Lighthouse, built in 1863. Due to coastal erosion, the lighthouse was moved in 2019 to prevent it from falling into the sea. Visitors to Rubjerg Knude can enjoy hiking, photography, and exploring the natural beauty of the region.
