The district is home to several notable landmarks, including the Rotherhithe Tunnel, which connects it to Canary Wharf, and the Surrey Docks Farm, a community farm that promotes local agriculture. Rotherhithe also features the Mayflower pub, which commemorates the departure of the Mayflower ship carrying Pilgrims to America in 1620.
