Rosca De Reyes
Rosca de Reyes is a traditional pastry celebrated in many Spanish-speaking countries on Three Kings' Day, which falls on January 6th. This sweet bread is shaped like a ring and often decorated with colorful candied fruits, symbolizing the jewels of the crowns worn by the Three Wise Men. Inside the rosca, a small figurine, usually representing the baby Jesus, is hidden.
The person who finds the figurine in their slice is expected to host a gathering or provide tamales on Candelaria Day, celebrated on February 2nd. This festive tradition brings families and friends together, marking the end of the Christmas season.
