Root Chakra
The Root Chakra, also known as Muladhara, is the first of the seven main chakras in the body. Located at the base of the spine, it is associated with feelings of safety, security, and grounding. This chakra is linked to our basic survival needs, such as food, shelter, and stability, and is often represented by the color red.
When the Root Chakra is balanced, individuals may feel secure and confident. However, if it is blocked or unbalanced, one might experience anxiety, fear, or instability. Practices like yoga, meditation, and mindfulness can help in balancing the Root Chakra, promoting a sense of well-being and connection to the earth.
