Robert Desnos
Robert Desnos was a French poet born on July 4, 1900, in Paris. He was a prominent figure in the Surrealist movement, known for his innovative use of language and dream-like imagery. Desnos's work often explored themes of love, dreams, and the subconscious.
In addition to poetry, Desnos was involved in journalism and radio broadcasting. During World War II, he was arrested by the Nazis and sent to a concentration camp, where he continued to write. He died on June 8, 1945, shortly after the war ended, leaving behind a significant literary legacy.
