Rincón de la Vieja
Rincón de la Vieja is a volcanic national park located in Costa Rica. It features a diverse range of ecosystems, including tropical dry forests and cloud forests. The park is home to the Rincón de la Vieja Volcano, which is one of the most active volcanoes in the country, with fumaroles, hot springs, and mud pots that attract visitors.
The park covers approximately 14,083 hectares and is part of the Guanacaste Conservation Area. It offers numerous hiking trails, allowing visitors to explore its rich biodiversity, including various species of birds, mammals, and plants. The park is also a UNESCO World Heritage site, recognized for its ecological significance.
