Richard Nevill, 3rd Baron Nevill
Richard Nevill, 3rd Baron Nevill (c. 1420–1484), was an English nobleman during the late medieval period. He was a prominent figure in the Wars of the Roses, a series of civil wars for control of the English throne. Richard was the son of John Nevill, 2nd Baron Nevill and played a significant role in the conflicts between the House of Lancaster and the House of York.
As a military leader, Richard Nevill participated in several key battles, including the Battle of Towton in 1461, which was one of the largest and bloodiest battles of the Wars of the Roses.
