John Nevill, 2nd Baron Nevill
John Nevill, 2nd Baron Nevill, was an English nobleman born around 1430. He was the son of John Nevill, 1st Baron Nevill and Joan de Beaufort. John became a prominent figure during the Wars of the Roses, a series of civil wars for control of the English throne. He was known for his loyalty to the House of York.
In 1460, John Nevill played a significant role in the Battle of Towton, one of the largest battles of the conflict. He was later appointed as the Lord Warden of the Cinque Ports. John Nevill died in 1476, leaving behind a legacy tied to the turbulent history of 15th-century England.
