Ramanujan
Srinivasa Ramanujan was an Indian mathematician born on December 22, 1887, in Erode, India. He is known for his substantial contributions to mathematical analysis, number theory, and continued fractions. Despite having little formal training in mathematics, his intuitive grasp of complex concepts led to groundbreaking discoveries.
In 1913, Ramanujan sent a letter filled with his mathematical findings to G.H. Hardy, a prominent mathematician at the University of Cambridge. Hardy recognized Ramanujan's talent and invited him to England, where they collaborated on various mathematical theories. Ramanujan's work continues to influence mathematics today, and he is celebrated for his unique insights and creativity.
