Rama Setu
Rama Setu, also known as Adam's Bridge, is a chain of limestone shoals that connects the southeastern coast of India to Sri Lanka. It stretches approximately 30 kilometers (18.6 miles) across the Palk Strait and is believed to be a natural formation, although some legends attribute its creation to the ancient Hindu epic, the Ramayana.
The bridge is named after Lord Rama, a central figure in the Ramayana, who is said to have built it to rescue his wife, Sita, from the demon king Ravana. Today, Rama Setu is a site of cultural significance and attracts both pilgrims and tourists interested in its historical and mythological importance.
