Ram Setu
Ram Setu, also known as Adam's Bridge, is a chain of limestone shoals that connects the southeastern coast of India to Sri Lanka. It stretches approximately 30 kilometers (18.6 miles) across the Palk Strait and is believed to be a natural formation, although some legends attribute its creation to the ancient epic, the Ramayana.
The bridge is named after the Hindu deity Lord Rama, who is said to have built it to rescue his wife, Sita, from the demon king Ravana. Today, Ram Setu is a site of cultural significance and attracts both pilgrims and tourists interested in its historical and mythological importance.
