Rakaposhi
Rakaposhi is a prominent mountain located in the Karakoram range of northern Pakistan. Standing at 7,788 meters (25,551 feet), it is the 27th highest peak in the world. The mountain is known for its stunning beauty and unique pyramid shape, making it a popular destination for climbers and trekkers.
The name "Rakaposhi" translates to "snow-covered" in the local Shina language. It is part of the Hunza Valley region, which is famous for its breathtaking landscapes and rich cultural heritage. The mountain's first successful ascent was achieved in 1958 by a team of climbers from Britain.
