Rajput Kingdoms
The Rajput Kingdoms were a group of warrior clans in northern and western India that emerged between the 6th and 12th centuries. Known for their valor and chivalry, these kingdoms were characterized by a feudal system where local rulers, or Rajas, governed their territories. The Rajputs built impressive forts and palaces, showcasing their architectural skills and cultural heritage.
These kingdoms often engaged in battles with each other and faced invasions from external forces, including the Mughals. Despite their military prowess, many Rajput rulers eventually formed alliances through marriage and diplomacy, which helped preserve their culture and influence in the region for centuries.
