Rabbinical Supervision
Rabbinical supervision refers to the oversight provided by a rabbi or a group of rabbis to ensure that food products and services comply with kashrut, the set of Jewish dietary laws. This supervision involves inspecting ingredients, production processes, and facilities to confirm that they meet the strict requirements of these laws.
The goal of rabbinical supervision is to provide assurance to consumers that the food they are consuming is kosher. Products that receive this supervision often display a hechsher, a symbol indicating that they have been certified as kosher by a recognized authority.
