Rabbi Moshe Cordovero
Rabbi Moshe Cordovero, also known as the Ramak, was a prominent 16th-century Jewish mystic and Kabbalist from Safed, Israel. He is best known for his influential works on Kabbalah, particularly the book Pardes Rimonim, which systematically organized Kabbalistic teachings and made them more accessible to scholars and students.
Cordovero played a significant role in the development of Jewish mysticism during the Safed Kabbalistic renaissance. His teachings emphasized the importance of understanding the divine structure of the universe and the relationship between God and humanity, influencing later Kabbalists, including Isaac Luria.
