RVO
Retinal Vein Occlusion (RVO) is a condition where one of the veins in the retina becomes blocked, leading to vision problems. This blockage can cause fluid to leak into the retina, resulting in swelling and potential damage. RVO is often associated with conditions like high blood pressure and diabetes, which can affect blood circulation.
There are two main types of RVO: Branch Retinal Vein Occlusion (BRVO) and Central Retinal Vein Occlusion (CRVO). BRVO occurs when a smaller vein is blocked, while CRVO involves the main vein. Symptoms may include blurred vision or sudden vision loss, and treatment options vary based on severity.
