RTPS
RTPS, or Real-Time Publish-Subscribe, is a communication protocol designed for real-time data exchange in distributed systems. It enables efficient and reliable communication between multiple devices or applications, allowing them to share information seamlessly. RTPS is commonly used in applications that require low latency and high performance, such as robotics, autonomous vehicles, and industrial automation.
The protocol is built on the Data Distribution Service (DDS) standard, which provides a framework for data-centric communication. RTPS supports various quality-of-service parameters, ensuring that data is delivered in a timely manner while maintaining the integrity and reliability of the information being shared.
