RFU Championship
The RFU Championship is the second tier of professional rugby union in England, sitting below the Premiership Rugby. It features a number of clubs competing for promotion to the top division, with teams playing each other in a round-robin format throughout the season.
Established in 2009, the championship has become a vital part of the English rugby landscape, providing a platform for emerging talent and competitive matches. The top teams at the end of the season have the opportunity to compete in the playoffs for a chance to be promoted to the Premiership.
