RADARSAT
RADARSAT is a series of Canadian Earth observation satellites that use synthetic aperture radar (SAR) technology to capture images of the Earth's surface. Launched by Canadian Space Agency, these satellites can operate day and night, regardless of weather conditions, making them valuable for monitoring changes in the environment, land use, and natural disasters.
The first satellite, RADARSAT-1, was launched in 1995, followed by RADARSAT-2 in 2007 and RADARSAT Constellation Mission in 2019. These satellites provide critical data for various applications, including agriculture, forestry, and ice monitoring, supporting both scientific research and practical decision-making.
