Qutb Minar
Qutb Minar is a towering minaret located in Delhi, India. Standing at 73 meters tall, it is the tallest brick minaret in the world and was constructed in the 12th century. The minaret is part of the Qutb complex, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which includes several other historical structures.
The Qutb Minar is made of red sandstone and features intricate carvings and inscriptions. It was built by Qutb al-Din Aibak to commemorate the victory of the Delhi Sultanate over the last Hindu kingdom in the region. The minaret serves as a significant example of Indo-Islamic architecture.
