Quintus Metellus Celer
Quintus Metellus Celer was a Roman politician and general who lived during the late Roman Republic. He belonged to the prominent Metelli family and served as a consul in 60 BCE. Celer was known for his military leadership and played a significant role in various campaigns, including those against the Celtic tribes in Gaul.
In addition to his military career, Celer was involved in the political landscape of Rome.
