Queen Marie Louise
Queen Marie Louise was born on December 12, 1791, in Vienna, Austria. She was the daughter of the Holy Roman Emperor Francis II and became the second wife of Napoleon Bonaparte in 1810. Their marriage was politically motivated, aimed at strengthening ties between France and Austria.
Marie Louise became Empress of the French and had one son, Napoleon II, who was given the title King of Rome. After Napoleon's downfall in 1814, she returned to Austria and lived a quiet life until her death on December 17, 1847. Her legacy includes her role in European politics during a tumultuous era.
